Oceania Cruises

Oceania Cruises of Miami, Florida, plans to operate the M/S Insignia, of Marshall Islands registry, on one cruise that will enter the Treaty Area for approximately 72 hours for scenic cruising. The vessel can carry a maximum of 777 passengers, and 405 staff and crew. No landings are planned.

M/S Insignia

M/S Insignia was built in 1998 and refurbished in 2004. The vessel is593.7 feet in length, has an 83.5 feet beam, a draft of 19.5 feet, and weighs 30,200 tons. Her average cruising speed is 18 knots and the vessel also has stabilizers.

ITINERARY: Sites visited may vary depending on weather and ice conditions, and may include Paradise Bay and Deception Island.

1. Depart Ushuaia December 25, 2004, arrive Puerto Madryn December 31 (in Treaty area December 26 - 28).
