All media in the gallery are intended for personal, educational and nonprofit/non-commercial use only.
Videos credited to the National Science Foundation, an agency of the U.S. Government, may be distributed freely. However, some materials within the videos may be copyrighted. Tele-robotics puts robot power at your fingertips
At the Smart America Expo, Howard Chizeck, professor of electrical engineering at the University of Washington, showed a system he helped develop where one can log in to a Wi-Fi network in order to tele-operate a robot working in a dangerous environment.
