All media in the gallery are intended for personal, educational and nonprofit/non-commercial use only.
Videos credited to the National Science Foundation, an agency of the U.S. Government, may be distributed freely. However, some materials within the videos may be copyrighted. Bumble bees in peril!
NSF-funded researchers have discovered that climate change, warmer temperatures and earlier snow melt are causing flowers to bloom earlier. These changes are affecting at least three types of bumble bees that live in higher altitudes and rely on these blooms to live and thrive.
