An instructor provides assistance in a class sponsored by the National Convergence Technology Center (CTC)/Business and Industry Leadership Team (BILT).

Supported by the U.S. National Science Foundation's Advanced Technological Education program, CTC was established to meet the growing need for convergence technology and networking specialists. The national CTC leverages the strengths of regional and national educational institutions and industry partners to create a pool of qualified convergence technicians who can design, build and troubleshoot communication infrastructure and devices for enterprise and home markets.
CTC's Business & Industry Leadership Team (BILT) meets quarterly to provide guidance to the center in determining employers’ needs in the workplace. BILT consists of high-level executives and techs from large corporations and small companies alike who understand the current state of the convergence industry and what skills get students hired.
