A quantum chip
A quantum chip photographed in the lab at the Quantum Leap Challenge Institute for Robust Quantum Simulation at the University of Maryland, an NSF Quantum Leap Challenge Institute. Quantum chips contain quantum bits, or "qubits," the basic unit of quantum information used by quantum computers.
