High-school Teachers Work on Idaho EPSCoR Project
Science teachers Cheryl Campbell, from a high school in Troy Idaho, and David Rodriguez, from a high school in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, participate in the Partners in Science project, which is incorporated annually into the National Science Foundation's (NSF) Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) for the state of Idaho.
Each teacher selected is funded for two summers by the EPSCoR partner organization to work and learn as a member of an active, externally funded and nationally competitive research group. The goal of the project is to enrich the high-school classroom experiences each teacher brings to current and future students. [Work supported by NSF grant OSR 93-50539.]
