Molecule designed for chemical precurser

A molecule designed by Georgia Institute of Technology chemist William Rees to use as a chemical precursor for a doping process. This consists of adding small quantities of various elements into a material to change its properties (in this case its conductivity). Scientists must exercise rigorous control of doping element placement in optoelectronic materials to improve performance of electronic devices. (Year of image: 2000)
