Microcontact Printing Pins (Image 1)
These micromachined silicon pins can imbibe solutions of DNA or proteins and, by virtue of their precisely fabricated tips and reservoirs, can accurately and precisely deliver small drops (~200pL) of these solutions to a substrate to create a so-called "DNA Microarray."
