Learning by doing: GEO-funded projects build a STEM workforce through immersive experiences

Undergraduate students explore careers in STEM and gain hands-on research experience in geoscience with a week at sea. Student cohorts sail with experienced faculty and graduate student near-peer-mentors and engage in geoscience and oceanography activities.
