Apply Now for an NSF Leadership Position
The National Science Foundation (NSF) utilizes Visiting Scientists, Engineers and Educators (VSEE) and Intergovernmental Personnel Act (IPA) rotators to maintain scientific leadership to help shape the direction of future research and education.
Carol Frost, Division Director of Earth Sciences (EAR), Rick Murray, Division Director of Ocean Sciences (OCE), and Paul Shepson, Division Director of Atmospheric and Geospace Sciences (AGS), are "IPA rotators," completing their appointments at NSF in calendar year 2018. We are now encouraging interested parties to apply to be their successors.
Accordingly, all three positions are currently advertised. One may apply for a permanent position, or for an IPA rotator or other temporary classification.
