The Office of Polar Programs (OPP) Arctic System Sciences Program is seeking qualified candidates for a Physical Scientist (Program Director) position.

The responsibilities of the NSF Program Director include:

• Long-range planning and budget development for the Arctic System Science Program
• The administration of the merit review process and proposal recommendations
• Preparation of press releases, feature articles, and material describing advances in the research supported
• Coordination and liaison with other NSF programs, as well as other Federal agencies and organizations
