JOB OPPORTUNITY: Program Manager - Antarctic Science and Engineering Support Contract

The Antarctic Infrastructure and Logistics (AIL) Section within the Office of Polar Programs, Geosciences Directorate is looking for a qualified candidate for the position of Program Manager - Antarctic Science and Engineering Support Contract. The primary purpose of the position is to coordinate all efforts related to entering into an agreement for Antarctic Science and Engineering Support as a follow-on arrangement to the Antarctic Support Contract expiring in March 2025.

Duties of the selected candidate include, but are not limited to:

  • Identify actions necessary to acquire the services needed under the Antarctic Science and Engineering Support Contract
  • Assign tasks and manages work appropriately to allow internal and external stakeholders to effectively meet necessary milestones.
  • Prepare status reports, briefings, papers, and other materials necessary to keep appropriate internal stakeholders informed of progress and issues.
  • Provide support to the Contracting Officer (CO) in all aspects of the acquisition
