Ms. Rasheda Spratley joins the Office of Polar Programs

The Office of Polar Programs is pleased to welcome Ms. Rasheda Spratley. Ms. Spratley joins OPP to support the Arctic Section Head and the Arctic staff in her role as a Program Analyst.

Ms. Spratley began her career at NSF in 2011 as a Pathways student in the Directorate for Geosciences Front Office. After graduating, she transitioned to OCE in 2014 as a Program Assistant and Program Specialist. There, she helped revive the OCE COV meeting and created documents to communicate with panelists. In January 2020, Ms. Spratley returned to the Front Office and took on the task of the GEO Weekly Newsletter after its predecessor left the NSF. At NSF, Ms. Spratley has worked on several programs, including AC/GEO, COPE, GEO PRISMS, Earthcube, P2C2, and SEES. In her free time, Ms. Spratley enjoys reading, music, and cooking/baking. Ms. Spratley brings a wealth of experience to the admin team, so please don't hesitate to contact her.
